Electricity is the primary energy source that powers homes and industries in Egypt. Electricity in Egypt has witnessed increasing interest recently, thanks to the notable activity of the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company in infrastructure development. The company has concluded contracts to supply supplies and support the national grid with new cables, in addition to signing huge agreements to add renewable wind energy.
