On August 10, the Cheung Sha Wan Animal Medical Center discovered a case in which an underage student suspected of killing a cat. The male student brought a lifeless cat to the veterinary clinic that day for first aid. He said that the cat was owned by his classmate and had been temporarily taken into his care for a month. However, after questioning by the clinic staff and police investigation, it was suspected that the male student beat the cat to death because the cat knocked over the water glass.
