The Japan Meteorological Agency updated the typhoon information at 9:45 p.m. on the 19th. As of 9 p.m. on the 19th, Typhoon No. 18 (Sawdel) is located near the Truk Islands in the far south of Japan, and is expected to continue to intensify as it moves north toward Japan.
