On August 10th, there was an accident in which a limited express train collided with a woman on the platform of JR Kamisuwa Station in Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture. Due to this, the Chuo-to Line service was suspended for nearly two hours between Kobuchizawa and Shiojiri. The accident occurred at JR Kamisuwa Station.
