(MHN Reporter Hwang Hye-seong) Bae Ji-hwan (27) was released from the New York Mets. The official U.S. minor league website announced on the 5th (Korean time) that the Triple-A Syracuse Mets, affiliated with the New York Mets, released Ji-Hwan Bae. Bae Ji-hwan was given a new opportunity when he was nominated by the Mets after the Pittsburgh Pirates announced waiver in November of last year.
