Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Governor Lee Won-taek, who was accused of spreading false information during the June 3 local elections, appeared at the police station. Governor Lee of Jeonbuk attended the Jeonbuk Police Agency yesterday (29th) and said, “I am confident that through the investigation, I will be found not guilty of publishing false information.” Governor Lee was accused of publishing false information under the Public Official Election Act in May and June. At the time, the indictment stated that Governor Lee was the independent Jeonbuk Governor Kim Gwan-young.
