(Beijing News on the 12th) The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People's Congress, the State Council of China, and the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference issued an obituary on Wednesday, announcing that former Chinese Premier Zhu Rong died in Beijing at 11:06 a.m. that day at the age of 98 after treatment for his genetic disease failed. According to the obituary, Zhu Rongji was born in October 1928 in Changsha, Hunan. He participated in revolutionary work in December 1948 and joined the Communist Party of China in October 1949.
