Social housing is state-supported housing projects that generally enable low- and middle-income citizens to own homes under affordable conditions. Recently, the 100 thousand housing projects and payment plans to be built by TOKİ in Istanbul have been on the agenda. In addition, some uncertainties such as the "seven-digit number" in TOKİ draws also attract the attention of the public. These projects aim to meet the housing need, especially in big cities, and to offer housing opportunities to low-income families.
