The Central Meteorological Administration continued to issue a maritime typhoon warning for Typhoon White Dolphin today (9th). The Meteorological Administration stated that the typhoon is currently centered on the sea northeast of Taipei, turning westward and northwestward, and its storm circle is gradually passing through the sea in northern Taiwan. It is expected that the intensity of this typhoon will weaken slightly and the storm circle will tend to shrink. The Meteorological Administration stated that today is the period when Typhoon White Dolphin is closest to Taiwan. It is predicted that it will weaken to a light typhoon during the day, and the peripheral clouds will move in waves. The northern region is protected from heavy rains, and the Zhumiao mountainous area is protected from heavy rains. The north coast of Keelung needs to be strictly protected from seawater intrusion during spring tides.
