A fraud case that shocked the medical community recently broke out at Changhua Christian Hospital. Former president Guo Shouren, former vice president Lai Jianwen and a medical equipment manufacturer named Liu were suspected of signing contracts that harmed the interests of the hospital during their employment. They were ordered by the Changhua District Prosecutor's Office to conduct a large-scale search by judicial units. After obtaining relevant evidence, the prosecutor determined that the three men were involved in serious crimes such as breach of trust, business embezzlement, and money laundering, and they have applied to the court for permission to be detained.
