Jeongyeon, a member of the popular Korean girl group TWICE, announced today that she has officially left JYP Entertainment, which she has worked with for 10 years, and switched to Varo Entertainment, owned by her sister Gong Seung-yeon, to start a new chapter in her acting career. Jeongyeon published a handwritten letter through the social platform, looking back emotionally on the years of growing up with JYP since her 10th generation. She admitted that although she was scared to face changes in the environment, the support of her fans ONCE and group members gave her more courage to face the challenge. Jeongyeon particularly emphasized that despite switching to a new owner, TWICE has always been the most important center in her heart and she will continue to act as a TWICE member in the future. She thanked JYP for its cultivation and fans' support, and promised to move forward step by step on the road of acting with a more sincere attitude in the future, and create more beautiful and precious moments with fans.
