A fire broke out at a well-known local biscuit factory in Zhushan, Nantou, around 8:30 a.m. today (20th). The fire spread rapidly and a large amount of thick smoke billowed out of the scene. It could be clearly seen from the Nantou section of the national highway 10 kilometers away. The situation at the scene was quite alarming.
