In order to strictly control the food safety of citizens, the Taipei City Government Health Bureau regularly sends personnel to the city's traditional markets, fruit and vegetable retail stores, chain supermarkets, mass merchandisers and restaurants to conduct sampling tests for pesticide residues in fresh fruits and vegetables. The inspection results of 50 fruit and vegetable products randomly inspected in June 2015 were released, and a total of 15 sample inspection results did not meet the regulations.
