An upstream train on the Kaohsiung MRT Red Line ran between the R14 Arena Station and the R15 Ecological Park Station at around 7:07 a.m. without warning. It happened during office hours, affecting about 300 passengers. After the fault was eliminated, SOP procedures were followed and the train was required to travel at a limited speed. Many office workers lamented that they were "suffering from high speed" and "punishing those who want to cross the line."
